Sombrero Mary Poppins Jolly Holiday Dress: disfraz infantil reciclando cortina Lill de Ikea.

Hola!:Hoy voy a contaros cómo realicé, el sombrero blanco que, Mary Poppins lleva en la escena del cuadro...es un trabajo de reciclaje muy artesano, pero el resultado es precioso y delicado.

Today I'll tell you how I made the white hat Mary Poppins takes in the scene of the picture ... is a very artisan work recycling, and the result is beautiful and delicate.







Vamos con los materiales, por supuesto todos reciclados!!:

1. cortina Lill de Ikea
2. recortes de espuma de polietileno, la que se usa para embalar objetos delicados.
3. recorte de malla blanca de jardinería.
4. pegamento adecuado a estos materiales.
5. hilo blanco.
6. flores para adornar.
   

Come with materials, of course, all of them are recycled !!:

1. Lill Ikea curtain.
2. scrap foam polyethene, which is used for packing delicate items.
3. cut white mesh gardening.
4. right glue to these materials.
5. white thread.
6. flowers for garnish.

Usando pegamento especial, unimos dos trozos de espuma de polietileno a la malla. El corte que hemos dado a la malla de jardinería, nos sirve de soporte rígido para el ala de la pamela y además, para poder sujetar el resto de materiales. Mientras seca, procedemos a medir la espuma necesaria para la copa, con ayuda de...un par de coladores y, cortamos una primera capa.

We use special glue, join two pieces of Styrofoam to the mesh. The court that we have given to the mesh gardening, serves as a rigid support for the wing of the hat and also to hold other materials. While dry, proceed to measure the foam required for the crown of the hat, using a pair of ... strainers, we cut the first layer.

Alternativamente, vamos colocando capas de espuma para dar rigidez a la copa, recortamos los sobrantes y, colocamos tela blanca sobre la copa.

Alternatively, let layering foam to stiffen the crown of the hat, we cut the leftovers and put a white cloth over the crown.

Recortamos el diámetro interior de la malla para poder unirlo todo, colocamos la tela blanca y, comenzamos a coser para unir la copa al ala de la pamela.

We cut the inside diameter of the mesh to tie it all together, just put the white fabric and started sewing to attach the crown of the hat to the brim of the hat.

Para dar forma a la copa y, que nos ayude a sujetar el conjunto, utilizamos semilla secas, en mi caso de cereza, mientras vamos cosiendo a mano. Por último colocamos la tela de cortina y, rematamos a mano todo el sombrero. Ya sólo quedará, añadir los adornos...flores de tela y, retales de tela de cortina, para los lazos superiores y la sujeción bajo la barbilla.







To shape the crown of the hat and help us hold the assembly, use dry seed, in my case cherry, while we are sewing by hand. Finally, put the curtain fabric and finish off hand around the hat. Now it only remains, adds the decorations ... the fabric flowers and curtain fabric pieces for the top bows and subjection under her chin.
